Describing the project, Caprali says:
My project goal is to bring awe and visual excitement to the
public, where they will experience my unique paper-like art
installations among trees and rocks. I plan to display the harmony of
nature and art in a series of tyvek handmade paper lantern cut outs
inspired by the magical paper cuts created by Danish author and poet
Hans Christian Andersen. I feel confident that my dream work of combining nature with
tyvek paper sculptures will be impactful and will draw attention to the
gardens, helping it’s attendance even on regular days.
This is to be a crowd-funded art project and Caprali is seeking donations to fund this project via HatchFund.org. There are some gifts available at various donation levels. Material Concepts has donated to this project and hopes that others will contribute too.
If you need Tyvek material for your own art project, Material Concepts will be able to supply many varieties of Tyvek. Just contact us for more information or just call us at 215-338-6515 or 1-800-372-3366.
