The book was printed on Tyvek Graphics style 8740D which is uncoated and ideal for UV Cure Inkjet and screen process printing.
Check out the story from Nashoba Publishing in Massachusetts, which describes the project's supporters and partners:
They achieved that goal with determination, a ton of hard work, and some outstanding support from: Joan Paley, author and illustrator, who has donated her time to put the kids' layouts into a professional format; DuPont, donating 4,000 yards of Tyvek printing media for the book; Material Concepts of Philadelphia, who cut the nearly 3-mile-long roll of Tyvek into 15 more manageable, smaller rolls; EFI VUTEk of Meredith, N.H., supplier of ink to print the book; UniGraphic of Woburn, who printed the entire book at cost; and financial supporter Bemis Associates of Shirley, a manufacturer of thermoplastic adhesives and specialty films.Material Concepts was proud to be able to assist with some converting services - converting the large mother roll into smaller rolls that the printer, UniGraphic of Woburn, required.
